American Gold Gymnastics’s Level 10 athlete, Halle Braaflat, made her collegiate career official on March 27th, 2024 as she signed with the University of Georgia. There, she will continue her gymnastics career as Georgia GymDog. At her signing, Halle was supported by her family, friends, coaches, teammates, and other competitive athletes from AGG.

In March, Halle was provided the opportunity to tour campus and spend time with the team. There she felt inspired and hopeful for a future as part of their team. Soon later, she accepted an offer from Georgia head coach Courtney Kupets Carter, a 2004 Olympic silver medalist, and graciously signed on with them.

Aside from being a gymnast, Braaflat is also a state runner-up in the 2023 North Dakota one-meter dive with the Fargo Davies Eagles. In addition to gymnastics and swimming and diving, Braaflat also competes in track and field for Davies, the defending North Dakota Class A girls champion.

Braaflat is a two-time USA Gymnastics Level 10 national qualifier & is looking forward to attending her last regionals in April.

Halle is an exceptional role model in our gym and an outstanding athlete. We are so proud of her and cannot wait to watch her thrive at the University of Georgia. #GoDawgs.
